As a French coffee roaster, Cafés Stanislas has remained true to the tradition of authentic coffee while embracing a committed societal and environmental approach.
Our house has held the secret to its longevity since 1946 through the quality of the products it offers, just as the founder intended. Our coffees are roasted in small batches in an artisanal manner, respecting the agricultural product and the work of the producers. We slow-roast all our coffees, neither too light nor too dark, a "monk's robe" style, in order to preserve the nutritional quality of the beans for a cup rich in taste and aroma.
All our recipes showcase a variety of aromatic profiles to offer everyone the chance to find the coffee that suits their desires or to be surprised by a destination with amazing flavors!
Through our coffee roasting, packaging, and sales activities, our SME employs 86 full-time staff. It thus contributes to the creation and maintenance of economic activity in our national territory. We are proud to help preserve a traditional French know-how and quality production.
We entrust the repurposing of jute bags from coffee-producing countries to professional integration structures for people with disabilities or undergoing social reintegration (ESAT), close to our roasting facility.
We prioritize French sectors and companies geographically close to us to support our development projects. This is a guarantee of quality and a commitment to sustaining a region.
In partnership with our importers, we work daily to source directly from organic coffee farms. As a Fairtrade member, guaranteeing fair and responsible pricing for producers, we contribute to improving the social, human, cultural, and economic conditions of the producers' families.
We support organic and reasoned production to democratize and improve agricultural practices in the countries of origin while preserving the environment and the ecosystem. All our coffees come from organic farming, certified by the ECOCERT control body.
Cafés Stanislas does everything possible to limit the impact of its activity on the environment, with examples including:
